Kat Talley

Acupuncturist

Kat Talley has over 28 years in the field of holistic energy & bodywork and is a licensed Classical Five-Element Acupuncturist. She holds a Master’s degree in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, CO, where she also continues to mentor current students. She earned her undergraduate degree in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University, where she assisted in teaching Buddhist Psychology and the Psychology of the Five Elements. She continues to honor these lineages and share this experiential wisdom in her practice.

Kat creates a calm, attentive space where clients don’t need to arrive with the “right words,” only a willingness to listen to what their body is asking for. Authentic, not enlightened.

In addition to clinical care, Kat offers Five Element–based personal development, guiding people through life’s transitions using the rhythms of nature as a steady reference point. Her work blends practical tools with subtle insight, helping clients feel more connected to themselves, their cycles, and the world around them. Whether someone comes in for physical support, mindfulness-based regulation, or deeper self-inquiry, Kat’s focus remains the same: meeting each person where they are and supporting change that unfolds naturally over time. This work often resonates with those who sense there’s wisdom in the body & they are ready to reconnect with it.

Kat’s ideal clients are :
– Curious, open, and ready to listen to what their body is already communicating.
– Drawn to working with their bodies and the rhythms of Nature.
– Navigating transitions in their life, who want support that is steady, intuitive, and grounded.
– Seeking thoughtful, body-centered care that honors both science and ancient wisdom traditions.

Kat is licensed in the states of Colorado, Alaska, and Washington, and is a Board Certified Diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
